Autoethnography:
In class, we learned the definition of Autoethnography and how to complete it. First of all, this is a research method that combines personal experience and cultural analysis to help us better understand the meaning and cognition in a specific cultural context. It is Experience + Primary Research / Analysis = Autoethnography as shown in the figure above.
My understanding is: we use our own personal experience as research material, record and reflect on personal experience in a specific cultural context (but it is not completely equivalent to the form of a diary). In this way, we can gain a deeper understanding of the operation and significance of our research, and connect personal experience with relevant theories to provide richer insights and understanding.
Take my own topic as an example: How can a Chinese better promote local culture? How should I popularize Chinese culture with people around me? This is what I am currently trying and has been doing for two years, so I have some experience in this field. At the same time, some data support and analysis contributed to the final research results – Autoethnography
Time Management:

Maybe because of too many time management problems at work before, I am now a person without time planning, which makes my life so disorganized in all aspects. So after listening to the topic of time management of Eisenhower Matrix, I think I need to make some changes.
First, sort the priorities of things, identify and prioritize the most important tasks. This will help to better understand what the final specific goals are. Then you should consider allocating time to different tasks and activities. Try to estimate the time required for each task and set a time period for it. Make sure to give yourself enough time to complete the task and leave some buffer time to deal with unexpected situations. Finally, make a time plan based on the above examples.
If I can really follow the timetable I planned, I think I can better achieve the results I want in my individual study. Time management actually fully planned the focus of my subsequent investigation, so that there would not be a “particularly confused” stage.
